Just hours before the people of Alabama took to the voting polls, Roy Moore held a final rally where, unbelievably, a speaker who happens to be close friends with him boasted about a time they entered a brothel together which was filled with very young and pretty girls.
Bill Sailing, who claimed to serve with Moore in Vietnam, described the incident:
He [third man who was unidentified] took us to this place which turned out to be a brothel. We walked inside. I could tell you what I saw, but I don’t want to. It was clear to us what kind of place it was. ‘There were certainly pretty girls, and they were girls. They were young. Some were very young.”
Apparently, Sailing was trying to emphasize that their third friend ‘tricked them’ into going to this private club and Moore wanted no part in it once he found out the girls were underage.
The purpose of Sailing’s story was to show voters that Moore does hold morals.
“He’s the same guy… He’s honorable. He’s disciplined. Morally straight. Highly principled.”
Even if it was an ‘accident,’ the only thing this story proves is that Moore is the kind of man who ends up at a club that promotes underage sex trafficking and that in itself is morally wrong.
