I just want everyone to leave my house,’ ” recalled Hansen, who suggested that the woman seemed to be channeling a spirit.No stranger to the paranormal — Hansen and her dad have been amateur ghost hunters for 10 years — even she was a little creeped out, she said.

Married teachers at a private school in Alabama face up to 20 years in prison each after being arrested in the same week on charges of having sex with different students at Pickens Academy in Carrollton.
The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that James “Jamie” Franklin Parker, 32, was arrested Wednesday and charged with as a school employee having sex with a student under the age of 19. The alleged victim is a former female student.
Parker’s wife, Charli Jones Parker, 30, was arrested on the same charges Monday, according to the sheriff’s office, in a case involving a male student.

But Michael Kenny, who worked as a tour guide during his latter years at Stratford’s Ettington Park Hotel, penned a pamphlet on his own brushes with the supernatural before quitting the job.
The 11-page document chronicles the history of the hotel, which can be traced back to 1086, and the spooks spotted by staff and guests.
Ettington Hall is officially recognised by the AA as the country’s most haunted hotel. It was also the setting for classic 1963 horror film The Haunting, starring Claire Bloom, Julie Harris and Richard Johnson.
Three body parts — including a foot — found in a homeowner’s recycling bin likely belong to a woman who was reported missing Saturday morning, Seattle police said Monday.Seattle Police Chief Kathleen O’Toole said at an evening news conference that an arrest had been made in the case and detectives believe the human remains are that of Ingrid Lyne, a 40-year-old mother of three who works as a nurse in Seattle.”All evidence leads in the direction of that missing woman,” O’Toole said.Friends of Lyne said they last saw her Friday afternoon and that she had planned to go on a date to a Mariners baseball game Friday night with someone she met online.The King County Medical Examiner’s Office will make the final determination of identity.Police arrested John Robert Charlton, 37, on Monday morning in Snohomish County, north of Seattle. He’s been booked into jail on investigation of homicide. It wasn’t immediately clear if Charlton had an attorney.
